Frequently Asked Questions

Which cleaning process should I use?
All of our methods are outstanding ways to get your carpet cleaned.  Our goal is to get your carpets looking their best.  In which case, our trained technician will evaluate the area being cleaned and will recommend the process that will best suite your cleaning needs.

How long do I need to wait for my carpet to dry?
Because we offer three different types of cleaning methods the drying time will vary.  With our steam cleaning process the dry time is 12-24 hours.  With our low moisture cleaning system the dry time is 1-3 hours.  And with our rotary extraction process the dry time is 12-24 hours.

How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
Be it a party with friends and wine spills, kids walking on carpet with dirty shoes, spilled juice or kool-aid, or general wear and tear, your carpets will accumulate dirt and allergy causing agents. While Heaven’s Best always recommends vacuuming frequently and often you should consider cleaning your carpets every six months or at the very least once a year.

Do you move furniture?
We will move light furniture. Any heavy furniture you want moved, such as hutches, will need to be moved ahead of our arrival.

Do you remove gum, wax and heavy soil?
Absolutely!! We have great success removing gum, wax and heavy soil build up. We also remove red dye stains caused by a wine spill, juice such as Gatorade or kool-aid.

Are your products safe for children and pets?
Yes. With our environmentally-friendly process you can rest assured your clean carpet is safe for children and pets.

Why do I have these black lines along my baseboards and under my doorways?
These dark black lines can be seen especially on light colored carpet. This soiling is called filtration lines. It comes from air passing through your ventilation system and into the carpet. As this air is attempting to get through the cracks between the carpet and the baseboard or under a closed door, this microscopic soiling is deposited there and occurs over a period of time. Filtration lines are not easily noticeable until a build up has occurred.

Because filtration soil particles are so fine that they penetrate deep into the carpet pile, sometimes into the backing of the carpet this type of soiling is difficult to remove. With our filtration line cleaner, time and effort, reasonable results can sometimes be achieved. To help prevent filtration soiling, be sure to change out or clean your ventilation system filter often and vacuum and wipe the edges of the carpeting on a regular basis.

Are you insured?
Yes

What other types of cleaning services do you provide?
Our cleaning expertise is not limited to carpet and upholstery cleaning. Heaven’s Best professionals are also experts at cleaning tile and grout. For those in need of minor carpet repairs such as re-stretching or patching we have trained technicians to meet your needs.
